From our partners at Farm to Chef:
Hello from the Farm to Chef Team!
Summer is flying by and we are fast approaching the date for this year’s Farm to Chef. On September 23rd at The Assembly Room, we will be reveling in the 10th year of this incredible celebration and fundraiser. This one-of-a-kind foodie event is a culinary competition that pairs local farmers with the area’s most talented chefs to create original dishes that highlight the region. We also showcase the talent of our local beverage purveyors – wine, beer, spirits, and craft cocktails. This amazing night is the annual fundraiser for the non-profit TasteWise Kids and its signature program, Days of Taste®, a hands-on program that provides elementary school children with an introduction to the basic elements of taste, the importance of fresh food, and teaches them how food travels from farm to table.
This year the beverage component has been expanded to showcase even more of the incredible wine, beer, and spirits made here. We will be dedicating the second floor of the venue to all things Maryland beverage and we would love to have you there representing your company. We are seeking 6 spirit partners and 14 total beer and wine sponsors. Our spirit partners will work in tandem with members of the Baltimore Bartender’s Guild to craft competition worthy cocktails while our beer and wine representatives will be asked to provide full-size or sample-size pours. As a special focus on our incredible array of Maryland producers, we would love to feature a raffle item from each participant, to be displayed at your table and raffled off during the event.
If you would like to reserve your space as part of this year’s Farm to Chef or have any questions about what participation looks like please reach out to me, Anna Kent, at firstname.lastname@example.org by phone call or text at 443-616-7795.
Thank you so much for your time, your consideration and, hopefully, your participation!
