Join Monocacy Brewing and Barley & Hops on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Brewer’s Alley in Frederick for the tapping of “Saison du Franchot” and “Franchot Comes Alive.”
Monocacy’s “Saison du Franchot” is a Saison-style ale that was brewed in tribute to Maryland’s Comptroller, Peter Franchot. They brewed this beer, under contract, on the 3 BBL system at Brewer’s Alley – as afforded through this year’s legislative changes.
Barley and Hops will debut their beer brewed in tribute to the Comptroller, called “Franchot Comes Alive,” a hazy, crazy aroma-packed NE IPA brewed in collaboration with our dear friend and über-Badass, Ben Little.
Both of these beers will be on tap at Brewer’s Alley and the Comptroller will be on premise from 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm to talk about Maryland beer, the Reform on Tap Taskforce, and chat with you – Marylanders.
