Hosting a Supporters of MD Brewing PAC Fundraiser

If you are a brewery willing to host a Supporters of Maryland Brewing-PAC (SMB-PAC) fundraising event at your taproom in December 2016 or early January 2017 (before the start of Session on January 11th!!), please contact Janna ASAP by email or at 410-252-9463.

The Brewery Modernization Act will be introduced in 2017, and there are a number of legislators whose fundraising efforts should be supported. The SMB-PAC will need to make several donations as soon as we can (invitations for fundraisers are already pouring into the office), and we have just established a checking account so that we can accept funds, as well as write checks to support key legislators.

A few of you offered to host a fundraiser at the last membership meeting, so let’s get some dates on the calendar and we will promote these fundraising dates heavily through our social media outlets. The Modernization Act provides a nice opportunity to engage our state’s beer lovers in the PAC’s fundraising efforts. Thank you!
