Brendan O’Leary, co-founder of True Respite in Rockville, worked with a local web developer to produce biermi, an online portal linking craft beer consumers directly to the breweries they support. In response to COVID-19, Maryland’s breweries are closed for on-premise consumption. Customers may purchase beer for off-premise consumption via curbside pickup and delivery from breweries throughout the state. For retail options from individual breweries, click here.
“Biermi is a marketplace for our customers to order True Respite beer directly from our brewery,” says O’Leary. “The platform does not replace our retail or wholesale partners, it only gives us a better way to record and transact to-go and delivery orders for off-premise customers.”
