We have been using our Cask SAMS canning line and Pack Leader ELF-50 for almost exactly a year. Having the ability to package during COVID has been an absolute life saver. So much so that we ordered a larger line.
The canning line came refurbished directly from Cask. We fill about 300 cases per day with our SAMS machine. It comes with numerous spare parts, including plates for both Ball and Crown/Ardaugh cans. We have recently been canning over 200 barrels per month with it.
Our new line arrives on July 20, so it is available any time for picking up or shipping after that date. If you want to see it in action, you are welcome to set up a time to come by next week.
The SAMS line was perfect for us as a new brewery since is simple enough that we were able to figure out any required maintenance with brewery staff every time we had any issues. We were even able to commission it without having Cask staff come out due to scheduling conflicts (not that we would recommend that approach).
Buyer will pay shipping. If it works for us to reuse crates from our new line we will crate for you. Otherwise, buyer will also need to pay for crating.
