Best of the Blue Ridge Awards
What’s the best brew in the Blue Ridge? Who are the top raft guides and most inspiring thru-hikers? Where is the most scenic waterfall? What are the toughest events in the region? And where can you get the best local beer and pizza after a day of adventure?

Readers will decide the nominees and winners of Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine’s ninth annual Best of the Blue Ridge Awards. Beginning October 1, readers can nominate their favorite outdoor businesses, events, people, food, drinks, and destinations in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. From the A.T. to zip lines, our Best of the Blue Ridge ballot includes over 100 award categories, including best outdoor shop, ski resort, and rafting company.

After the nomination period (Oct. 1 – Oct. 7), a second round of voting for the top nominees in each category will begin on Monday, October 15.

“This is an opportunity for readers to rally around what they love most about the region,” says publisher Leah Woody.

Best of the Blue Ridge Awards are the largest and most prestigious outdoor awards in the Southeast, and they are highlighted in newspapers, magazines, shops, and businesses across the region.
