I own a small 13 acre farm that sits at the base of the Frederick County watershed in Myersville, MD. I installed a hopyard about 6 years ago with the hopes of one day starting a farm brewery. While this is still a long-term goal, life and work have slowed my progress and most recently relocated me to NY.
I hate to see the hopyard sit idle, so I wanted to see if any MD growers or breweries would have any interest in leasing or potentially using the yard at no cost? The yard is approximately 0.6 acres, with 13 rows and around 750 rhizomes. Pictures of the yard can be found in detail here.
