<span style=”color: #050505; font-family: ‘Segoe UI Historic’, ‘Segoe UI’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;”>Happy New Year, All! Here’s to a bright and prosperous 2021. Quick PSA regarding insurance: As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, most carriers have added specific exclusions in connection to Organic Pathogens/Communicable Diseases. Some do not exclude them in “food or beverage”, some are excluding them entirely. Some are not excluding them in your base General Liability but they are in your Umbrella coverage. Some are excluding them in both their General Liability and Umbrella coverage. Point is: Check-in with your Insurance Advisor and make sure you understand what your carrier is up to and if there is any advantage to looking for a different carrier. Cheers.</span>
