Hello,
I was hoping to get some guidance from fellow brewers in MD on how you are handling ERTC (tax benefit for COVID relief). The ERTC has been extended into Quarter 2 of 2021.
This is (on of ) the requirements to qualify:
<span style=”color: #1b1b1b; font-family: ‘Source Sans Pro’, sans-serif;”>A full or partial suspension of the operation of their trade or business during this period because of governmental orders limiting commerce, travel or group meetings due to COVID-19</span>
As of last month, Governor Hogan returned restaurants and food service businesses to 100% capacity with safety restrictions. Honestly, the Service restrictions prevent us from getting to 100% (must be seated – We have standing drink rails; tables must be 6 ft apart – We do not have the physical space to move tables to keep them all 6 feet apart; etc.). So although MD has opened us to 100% capacity, the remaining safety restrictions prevent us from truly getting to 100%
Does anyone share a similar scenario and what advice would you propose?
Regards,
Chris
