Dear BAM Members,
For the past two years, I have attempted to launch a nanobrewery concept in Baltimore County. Because of insufficient capital to navigate the Federal Permitting Horizon, I am not able to pursue this endeavor any further. I have a great passion for craft beer, local food and local business development, and I very much want to work in the industry. I am looking to join an organization where my skills and experience can contribute to their team’s collective effort.
My business background for 20 plus years is across diverse industries, with a very successful track record in enterprise development and management, operations, project management, creating training and business development programs and employing and teaching BPM in organizational development.
I have four years of home brewing experience, with an emphasis on process, record keeping and organization, water chemistry, style and recipe development, yeast management, fermentation methodology and systems design. During the past two years, it was necessary to learn much of the legal and structural elements of the industry including zoning, use and occupancy, regulatory processes that include environmental, public works, legislative and relationship development across the governmental bureaucracies. Additionally, I acquired a working knowledge of the insurance, licensing, permitting, application and bonding requirements on a Federal, State and Local level.
My initial thought is to pursue a position in Operations or Enterprise Development, however I am open to hybrid roles and welcome any discussion regarding unique and creative opportunities, in addition to already determined job positions.
Please feel free to call or email me. Resume and references are available upon request.
Thank you in advance or your considerations.
