Hi Everyone, We’ve got a farm brewery in planning and I’m looking to get into growing hops to provide for the brewery as well and hopefully to sell. I’m looking for help and advice in how best to get my feet wet as I’m thinking that growing hops, or getting them started, can be something I get started while we get the brewery going. This could include me helping out a current Hop farm as seasonal support, or to that effect. Thanks in advance for your time and response! Denis
Hey Denis.
feel free to shoot me an email dcarroll.hops@gmail.com. I can attempt to get you started with some dos and plenty of donts. First start small!!!! Also reach out to Bryan butler from university of Maryland. He’s improved growing hops in our region tremendously over the last few years!
Dan Carroll.
