Spent Grain Disposal

Hi BAM folks,

What is everyone doing with their spent grain?  Selling it to a farmer, giving it to a farmer, paying a farmer to take it, composting it, hopefully not trashing it.

I am shopping around for farmer to pick up my spent grain.  Does anyone have one they are using that can take on another brewery?

Geoff,

We have an agreement with a local farmer to pick up the spent grain when we let them know it is available.  It costs us nothing, and costs them nothing.
