My brother Bob and I tend a small farm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We grow heirloom Indian corn and white corn for our Pungo Creek Mills gristmill and to make corncob pipes at our Old Dominion Pipe Company LLC. Our surplus Indian corn is sold off to distilleries and breweries. We are currently looking to expand our Indian corn sales in Maryland. We are not huge, but we are dedicated to the fine details of small scale grain production that matter. We are not looking to replace any current grain distributors, but to give breweries the opportunity to add a special seasonal non-GMO heirloom Indian corn to their production line.
Our Indian corn is DNA linked to the Bloody Butcher variety grown at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains in 1840. We grow, cure and process it using vintage equipment and hand selection. It is of the finest quality available. Our current inventory is about 18,000 pounds.
